A construction magnate and over a dozen individuals have surrendered to authorities in connection with criminal negligence charges stemming from the collapse of a Bangkok high-rise during an earthquake on March 28. Premchai Karnasuta, the president of Italian-Thai Development Co, is among those who have turned themselves in. The charges relate to the company's alleged role in the building's structural failure during the seismic event.
