A construction magnate and over a dozen other individuals have surrendered to law enforcement authorities in connection with criminal negligence charges stemming from the collapse of a Bangkok high-rise building during an earthquake on March 28. Premchai Karnasuta, president of Italian-Thai Development Co, is among those who have turned themselves in. The charges relate to the alleged negligence that contributed to the building's collapse.
